Assignment #5 Inspiration

I can not find the cord to my camera, so I can't put up pictures of the actual items i purchase from the thrift shop. I purchase 2 shirts and a dress which all felt very retro/80's to be but in a modern way (only 1 of the shirt was actually "vintage").

From this I got the idea to Brand a 80's style boutique. I decided on the name Righteous, being a very 80's phrase to say something is cool or awesome. Below is some 80's inspiration. Project to come shortly.

iPhone App- Bucks County Wine Trail

I will not be in class this week since I am on vacation. I would like to continue working on this assignment. Also want to play with some textures that we were shown 2 weeks ago in class, but the Internet where I'm staying is pretty much non-existent. This is what I have as of right now.

One thing I've realized while working on this assignment is that... there really is an app for EVERYTHING. I brainstormed and had (what I thought) were some great ideas but each one was already created. I realized that in order to create an app the didn't exist, I would have to get very specific. 

For my app I decided to do it surrounding the Bucks County Wine Trail. I grew up in Bucks County Pennsylvania, and there are 9 different vineyards/wineries that worked together to form the Bucks County Wine Trail. The app would focus on these 9 vineyards and provide information, directions, events, etc. 

Here is my wireframe, designs to come.

New Versions

Thanks everyone for your comments! I've played with the colors on the first option a little more while still trying to keep the girly feel.

Didn't have much time to work on the Money version, I would like to be able to make it feel old, but I'm not sure how to get there.

I also created a 3rd design (which is my favorite). I took the tools taught in our last class, but wanted to make the words look like building or something tall/high that you would try to reach.  ((for some reason this one jpeg won't upload, guess i'll show you in class)

Assignment #3- How I'm Feeling

I'm still having a hard time putting my ideas on paper. I want to continue to try to work on the computer, since I would like to develop those skills, but it is frustrating when the programs do not do what you want/expect them to do.

Here are the first two I've gotten close to finished. Plan to continue working on these tonight, or try to completely start over. Any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.
