New Versions

Thanks everyone for your comments! I've played with the colors on the first option a little more while still trying to keep the girly feel.

Didn't have much time to work on the Money version, I would like to be able to make it feel old, but I'm not sure how to get there.

I also created a 3rd design (which is my favorite). I took the tools taught in our last class, but wanted to make the words look like building or something tall/high that you would try to reach.  ((for some reason this one jpeg won't upload, guess i'll show you in class)

Assignment #3- How I'm Feeling

I'm still having a hard time putting my ideas on paper. I want to continue to try to work on the computer, since I would like to develop those skills, but it is frustrating when the programs do not do what you want/expect them to do.

Here are the first two I've gotten close to finished. Plan to continue working on these tonight, or try to completely start over. Any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Assignment #2- 10 Visual Representations for 10 New York Times Articles

For some reason I'm not able to upload images to my blog right now, but the visuals from last nights Assignment #2 will be up at some point today...


For the next assignment, I'm really going to focus on improving my typography. Not only because it is a typography based assignment, but also because that is where I am obviously struggling the most. I hope (someday) I have time to redo some of these previous assignments because I find them both interesting and challenging.
